As well as state schools and comprehensive schools, Cheltenham also has a mixed grammar school, Pates, schools that cater to children with special needs or those requiring learning support. There are also many local independent schools in and around Cheltenham, including Cheltenham Ladies College. All in all, there are so many choices of good schools in Cheltenham, it is easy to see why it is so attractive to families.
