4. Tutbury Castle

5. The National Brewery Centre – Burton-upon-Trent

6. East Midlands Aeropark

If it’s flying and aircraft that are your passion, you must visit the East Midlands Aeropark. The centre is less than 200 metres away from the main runway of East Midlands Airport and features a museum displaying some incredible vintage aircraft. See a Rolls Royce engine up close and soak up the atmosphere from the viewing deck as you watch the East Midlands Airport airliners taking off and landing.

7. Carsington Water

For water sports enthusiasts, there’s nowhere better than Carsington Water in the East Midlands. Here you can indulge in activities like sailing, wind surfing, fly fishing and kayaking.
